GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The West Michigan Miracle League is getting support from the Davenport University baseball team.

The Panthers will host Saint Xavier on Sunday to raise awareness for the Miracle League’s facility to be part of the Art Van Sports Complex on 10 Mile Road in Plainfield Township.

The teams will play two seven-inning games beginning at 1 p.m.

Tony Comden, co-founder of the WMML, will join with his son, Jed, to join the Panthers to help raise money for the complex. Jed will throw out the first pitch with his father by his side. The Panthers will also hold a 50/50 raffle with the winner announced and the end of the third inning of game two, with all proceeds going to the Miracle Field Foundation.
